Impact Evaluation Standard 122
The IES is a proprietary model, commissioned by Thrive 123 and designed to help UK organisations measure and value their social value activities. Developed with input from a consortium of social value experts, it comprises metrics, proxy values, and guidance documents aligned with the UK government’s Social Value Model. Drawing on guidance from the UK government and leading social value bodies, the IES provides a standardised framework for both public and private sector organisations to estimate and understand their social impact. All proxy values are rigorously developed by industry experts in accordance with HM Treasury's Green Book and supplementary WELBY guidance.
