Overall The question for SIIF (and other investors) is whether A0 is trying to do too much too fast. There is always going to be a balancing act between adding and growing additional profitable business lines while supporting those businesses that may be less profitable, or less scalable, but are central to A0’s commitment to “nurture communities through its sustainable, cyclical relationship with nature.” This then requires A0 and SIIF to define success and move toward achieving it.
