Net Income As Figure B shows, overall, net income was ¥30,000,000 less in 2024 than in 2022 (¥98,245,000 in 2024 compared to ¥127,938,000 in 2022). Net income was lower because of a ¥72,000,000 increase in indirect costs from 2022 to 2024 (¥56,128,000 in 2022 to ¥127,300,000 in 2024), highlighting that some business lines are not profitable (also see Figure C). At the same time, direct business costs increased slightly (from ¥508,982,000 in 2022 to ¥535,406,000), keeping pace with the overall increase in income from operations.
